ELP - C'est la vie
When i was a teenager i was into Emerson Lake and Palmer and Yes and bands like these. In my neighbourhood these were not mainstream. Disco was were it was at if you wanted to be hip with the babes. I was also into reading parapsychology and deep stuff like that yet i was a pathetic student. I was the kid carying my schoolwork in files that i had made which contained charcoal pictures on them depicting works by DaVince and other greats. The files were finished with wax coating and they looked really cool. They were kinda like my blanky.
I stopped being weird, so i thought, and disposed of all those strange things.
This video is a rendition of a song i used to listen back then and the troubled world that it depicts is so with the condition of the world today. Can ELP be telling us something. They are the timeless type of band that has always attracted me.
Listen to the song. Although it may sound a bit depressing, the message of hope will uplift you when you recall it.
Enjoy
